The Story Behind This Cake
Formigueiro is one of Brazil's most beloved homemade cakes, especially popular at birthday parties, afternoon coffee gatherings, and family celebrations. Its playful name means "anthill" in Portuguese, inspired by the tiny chocolate sprinkles scattered throughout the cake, resembling little ants hidden inside every slice.
Soft, buttery, and comforting, our version takes this childhood favourite a step further. After baking, the cake is gently soaked with a sweet condensed milk glaze that seeps into every crumb, creating an extra moist and tender texture. A finishing touch of chocolate shavings adds richness and just the right amount of indulgence.

Every batch is prepared by a certified Food Handler following approved food safety practices. Some products contain tree nuts and other allergens. Although we carefully clean and sanitize all equipment between batches, our kitchen is not allergen-free.
